Most dyes will be suitable, but it’s really important that dyes containing more than 20vol (6%) of peroxide are not used.​ ​If you consult an experienced professional to ​dye your clip-in human hair extensions​,​ please ensure the guidelines that come with the dye are followed and also it is strongly recommended that strand test is completed first – once ​Remy clip-ins​ have been dye, Milk & Blush won’t be able to accept them back for a refund or exchange. Dyeing your extensions is entirely at your own discretion and risk.

As ​Remy hair extensions​ are made with real human hair, it’s important to take extra care with them – that way, they’ll last as long as possible. A simple way to do this is by storing them correctly; use a hair bobble and hair net to keep your hair extensions together and pop them into a hair extension storage bag.

When it comes to caring for your ​Remy extensions​, treat them even more gently than you would your own hair. When using hot tools, be sure to prep the hair with a good quality heat protectant. Also bear in mind that the extensions may curl and straighten differently than your own hair, if you work with small sections of hair you won’t need to hold heat tools on them. It’s also best to avoid using particularly sticky or greasy products. We recommend setting your heat styling tools to 120C/250F or less, higher temperatures will run the risk of damaging the hair thus reducing the lifespan.
