Recycle Your Hair Extensions
Donate your old hair extensions to help clean-up ocean oil spills.
  • Our promise

As a company, we are committed to improving the way we work to ensure that we always work in a fair and eco-friendly way. As one of the leading suppliers of hair extensions in the world, we sell tonnes of hair per year, which ultimately end up in landfills once the customer has finished and moved onto a new set.

  • Why is it important to recycle your hair extensions?

Hair has long been known for its ability to absorb oil. Donated hair extensions are turned into special mats set to work in oil leaks to soak up oil spills effectively.

  • How do I recycle my Milk & Blush hair extensions?

Instead of discarding unwanted hair extensions, send them back to us. We will donate the hair to the Clean Wave Campaign, where it will be used to create hair mats that absorb oil spills in storm drains.

We are delighted to have teamed up with the Matter of Trust programme in the USA for their Clean Wave Campaign to promote the awareness and environmental impact of waste fibre recycling.

How do I donate?

You can now return the unwanted hair extensions to our head office where we collect the extensions and regularly ship the donations to the Matter of Trust. To take part in our hair recycling scheme and support the Clean Wave Campaign, we simply ask you to tie the bundle of hair extensions together at the top and post back to us, labelled as follows:
